Unsafe hygiene practices are widespread in the Informal settlement. This leads to poor sanitation and unsafe drinking water. PNMF aims at creating awareness of good hygiene practices and their role in spreading diseases. However, it is often the case that even when people have knowledge of good hygiene behaviors, they lack the soap, safe water, and washing facilities. PNMF aims at installation of more hand-washing points in the communities.
